After School Clubs
Across the year at Croftway Academy, our learning continues beyond the classroom and the normal school day as we offer a variety of free extra-curricular clubs. These clubs have a strong focus on one core activity, giving children a chance to try something new, build life skills and gain confidence. There are a variety of clubs on offer, some are offered exclusively to particular year groups – details of the opportunities available for your child are shared at the end of each half-term. We then allocate children to clubs over the holiday/first week back so that all our clubs run for 4 weeks.
Our provision changes regularly. In the autumn term, we are offering the following:
- Fit2Be (Dance, available all year round)
- Choir (includes visits to local care homes, shopping centres and places of worship, available all year round)
- NOTE: Both of the above clubs are offered on a repeating basis each half-term, with our register updated/places offered each half-term.
- Autumn term: Year 1 and 2: Jigsaw Club, Yoga Club
- Autumn term: Year 2/3: Art and drawing club
- Autumn term: Year 5/6: Netball Club
- Autumn term: Year 6: Maths Magicians
Clubs will be changed/updated over the coming weeks so you know what’s available for the new half-term Watch out for our advert/flyer coming home just before the holiday. Please sign up via the google form attached to the flyer. Some clubs have limited capacity, so we allocate places based on a ‘first come, first served basis’ and apply a waiting list for places which may become available during the half-term.
